Registered Nurse Apply For This Position
Carolinas Specialty Hospital is currently looking for Registered Nurses to work Full-Time for days and nights RN’s work three 12 hour shifts. Carolinas Specialty Hospital (CSH) is a 40-bed Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Hospital specializing in medically complex patients requiring an average length of stay of 25 to 30 days.A typical LTAC patient may require care for: Ventilator Weaning, Complex Wounds, Infections requiring IV antibiotics, Complications from extensive surgery, Multi-system failures, TPN, Neurological / traumatic injuries, not yet able to participate in acute rehabilitation due to medical complexity, Bariatric Care.
JOB SUMMARY
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of all patients ranging in age from 18 years to geriatric.  He/she is also responsible for the overall direction and supervision of all patient care during his/her shift.  Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to carry out the nursing process when providing care to patients.  Satisfies the established standards of the nursing practice.  Supervises and delegates patient care tasks to LPN, CNA, and other patient care team members.  Promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.  As appropriate, the Registered Nurse takes into consideration the patients’ age in the performance of any task.
